Chanukah candle curve
Inspired by Jewish Chanukah (Hanukkah) candles, to celebrate the festival of Chanukah.
Recently I was commissioned by a Jewish lady who liked my small candle curve and wondered if I could adapt the design to make a larger piece with the traditional nine candles, the middle one being the tallest.
She liked it so much she’s getting another for a friend and suggested that I make more of them to put on my website.
This is the result … shown with a variety of nine blue and green candles (the tallest being in the middle). Each candle is topped with a flickering flame (in fused glass).
This candle curve is accompanied by a customised little ledge to protect all surfaces from any possible heat damage. Plus it’s supplied with two tealights.
